Tuesday Two-Minute Tech Tips | Episode #66 | Fast Finisher Favorites

In today’s two-minute tech tip, Terri shows us a Google Slides presentation that Ashley created called “Fast Finisher Favorites” that is full of curated activities and resources for secondary students who have finished their work early and make the claim that they “have nothing to do.”  Pop this slide deck into your Google Classroom and allow your early finishers to explore and pursue their own unique interests and passions! You can easily turn this into a Genius Hour project as well!  Many of the activities/resources are appropriate for all ages; however, this slide deck was designed with secondary students in mind.  Elementary teachers can make a copy and modify for your younger students as you see fit!

SpeakUp Survey

HUSD is once again participating in Project Tomorrow’s SpeakUp survey, which collects nationwide data regarding educational technology.

In an effort to collect feedback within our own district we would very much appreciate it if —sometime between now and April 30th — you could complete the teacher or admininstrator survey. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. The results are incredibly valuable to us as we plan for the future educational technology and professional development needs of our district.

We would love to hear the voices of as many of our teachers and admininstrators as possible.

Thank you so much for you time and help with this.  We look forward to viewing your responses!
